When a London Dry Gin and Jackfruit combine

This vibrant recipe combines the tropical sweetness of jackfruit with the herbal, spiced notes of Gordon's gin, creating a delightful and unique ingredient that's perfect for any occasion. Time needed: 24 hours

Technique: maceration


Tools:

Liter Glass jar

Knife

Strainer

Double strainer

Blender

24oz / 25oz (700ml / 750ml) Glass bottle


Ingredients:

1 Bottle of Gordon’s Gin (24oz / 700ml)

250g Jackfruit


Procedure:

  1. Weight 250g of jackfruit pulp (discarge the seeds)

  2. Using a blender, blend together the jackfruit and the gin for 2 minutes at medium speed

  3. Pour the mixture in a sterilized jar

  4. Let it infuse at room temperature, in a dark place, for 24 hours shaking the jar every 2 hours

  5. Once ready strain the mixture squeezing the pulp in order to recover much liquid as possible

  6. Then fine strain the liquid in order to remove all the solid parts remained

  7. Pour the jackfruit gin in a bottle, label it and keep it in th fridge
